Anna Bozena Bowen, award winning author, delivered an inspiring commencement address to the 2015 graduates of Holyoke Catholic High School.

“Author Anna Bowen, addressed the graduates as this year’s Alumna of Distinction. Bowen, a 1971 graduate of Holyoke Catholic, is a poet, writer, holistic nurse and intuitive…. Bowen’s 2012 debut novel, Hattie has won several national book awards.

Bowen encouraged the graduating students, above all else as they go out into the world to “get to know yourself.”

“Change is ahead of you. Change is inevitable,” she said. “As your story unfolds, may it be above and beyond your expectations.” ”
