“HATTIE belongs in Women Studies,” Granby Library Book Club

As the author of HATTIE, I was invited to join the Granby Library Book Club on Thursday March 13th. I spent an engaging and enlightening evening with this group of women who expressed how deeply moved they were by HATTIE the novel. The discussion and questions covered many topics including loss, motherhood, domestic abuse, and the power of voice. Many agreed that HATTIE belongs in both high school and college programs such as English, Women’s Studies, and Psychology. I would love to see HATTIE on syllabuses.
